I ran the unit through a diagnostic and inspected all functions. I could not duplicate a leak however I did find that the unit has over suds at some point. The customer does have oxy clean. I informed customer what might have occurred is over sudsing during oxy use. This is a common problem on this unit. Also I do see signs of sounder warpage I showed the customer if sounder breaks its better to replace the unit.

Upon arrival unit was shut off. I pulled out unit on my slides and I checked the pressures and it is not pumping down at all. Will need to redo the entire system again including the compressor. Either compressor has failed or has a major restriction. Install filter and screw was not a screw. It was a magnet indicator that tells the control board the door is closed. No issues. Unit is working perfectly customer paying full.

Oven burner needs to be replaced water and gas tube. Also need to be replaced igniter and thermocouple owners will assess service fee only today.

Install temp sensor tested oven oven got to 350 in eight minutes. Oven is hot and working properly.

Was able to install new valve assembly now everything so good. The recent one that we had installed for this job didnt want shut off at first but everything working good

Was able to come out for Bryan and found that the unit had a fill hose that was frozen and that it was leaking above the fill hose and that the sealant putty is not sealant it proper also the unit had a broken Icemaker resolver where the water enters. I need to order these parts to try to get the Icemaker working properly ; ordrng 1 WR30X10093 (Icemaker) and 1 WR2X8474 (Fill hose)

"I inspected built in fridge and found that the main control board has shorted out and the fridge compressor its randomly coming on not dropping temps to set point, inverter computer is yellow from compressor heat, evaporator fans, sensors, have shorted out. You can see signs of burnt Smokey motor at door switches. While looking at fridge compressor I also checked amp reading on the freezer compressor and they are not with in manufacture specifications. This is a major repair and will require unit possibly brig pulled out, 2 men they entire day to correct the issue. I would recommend replacing main computer, 2 compressors, 2 compressor inverters, evaporator fan motors, and sensors/thermistors to correct the issue. I can try not pulling the unit out and doing the compressor replacement but it may require pulling unit out and separating lower part of the cavity. I will not know until I actually start swapping compressors this will require removing refrigerant and brazing lines loose with a torch. I replaced both glow igniters and tested the unit. It is now heating properly.

I spoke with Perlick tech line and they told me to make adjustments to the temp variable top to bottom 10 degrees more so the top section will cool better.

Unit main computer/defrost control shorted the evaporator is a solid block of ice. There is no air flow through the inside of the fridge thats why cooling has stopped. I explained to the customer that the min computer that controls the defrost along with sensors and heater need changed to correct the issue. The customer stated that they have had power outages frequently. I encouraged customer to look into a surge protection on the unit. I also told formed the customer that when the evaporator gets that thick of ice that the refrigerant inside the unit still tries to pump through the system and compressor and its recommended to replace the compressor and filter drier and blow out the rest of the sealed system with nitrogen. This is to try and get all the moisture out of the system. Also the customer bottom right hinge stop on door and hinge are broke and need replaced. I will write up an estimate and send it to the customer now. I have sent the estimate to the customer office please follow up with customer about repair. The dishwasher was not installed correctly. I removed old install just installed new one and adjusted the unit to the best of my ability. Install all parts tested dryer. Dryer is working found no issues. Customer has paid in full.

I did all the maintenance cleared lines re programmed the board. Exsplained to the husband there on site that the density of the unit maybe thinning over time and is no longer insulating well. That we have tried all possible suggested measures to correct the issue. Customer wants to know if we can set him up on a 6 month preventative maintenance on both units to try and stay ahead of the situation. Office please schedule 2 preventative maintenance on fridges in 6 months I will also note my personal calendar. Door is sealing all the work is now completed.

I re a unit and found the wash motor is starting to fail making a rattling noise. We need to collect for the service fee I was working with the house Manager or something but I sent a quote to their email. If they ok estiment willl need to collect for parts as well; ordrng 1 154614002 (Wash Motor)

Customer reported that the vent keeps giving an error code stating needs new filter. But filters are clean and no clogging. I inspected the motor itself and it looks like it has grease build up in the motor this can slow down the rpm of the motor and the unit may give error thinking the unit grease filters are clogged. Unit does work and I did not see any error codes come up while I was there but we can definitely change the motor assy if customer desires but unit is functioning at this time. Unit compressor has burned up over heated and leaked oil inside the ice maker cavity. Due to age and wear of the unit it would be better to replace this unit over repair. This unit would need complete Rebiuld of the sealed system at minimum. Then we can test to see if there are more issues to start attempting repairs $4500.00

I installed the new latch and tested the unit. It is heating and the lights are going out.

I inspected the icemaker and the shut off arm is not staying inside the icemaker. It falls out very easy. I tried several times to put it back in but the receiver on the icemaker is not keeping it. I recommend replacement the icemaker to correct the issue. The customer asked if I could ask about any warranty because the issue started happening after the last repair we did. I told her I would ask the manager and get back to her.I discussed with Roger and he said that we would be able to replace the ice-maker no labor charge if customer pays for the part since unit is out of our warranty. Upon arrival the only issue I could see was there was no high loop on left side dishwasher. These units were pulled out during remodel so they forgot to do that when reinstalled. Also they installed a kick panel that would need to be cut if this ever needed to be pulled out. As of now I tested the dishwasher and it ran fine with no error codes.

"I inspected the double oven and found that the main control board relay is sticking on bottom oven causing it to over heat. Inspected the KITCHENAID double oven and found the main pan causing the bake element to over heat and burn out. You can see the war page on the floor of the oven. Due to age its better to replace over repair

Washer is working good was able to run a load with towels and now mechanical failure and was able to run it on a test mode. Mentioned to customer based upon the symptoms that she mentioned that it possibly pointing to the shaft on the gear case assembly

Was able to diagnose the washer its operating through all the functions but there is a noise in agitation and also it has a slight wobble in spin mode. Which is pointing to the gear case slightly failing the suspension rods are good. I mentioned to the customer of the repair and because of the style of washer the customer didnt want to move forward with the repair only service fee

Was able to install new water valve and there is no leaks noticed that valves had a slight noise to them informed customer about that and mentioned Taft it usually goes away over time but to call us just incase Only collected labor

This range left side small oven has a direct short from the main computer board. There is no functions from control panel and the cooling fan is stuck running all day does not ever shut off. Also the light switch does not work. I informed the customer the 1st best approach is to replace main board/computer and go from there. That until that is fixed we would not know if any other issues are there. Customer understands. Im looking up the parts now and will send an estimate this will be a 2 man job to pull unit out.Customer has been sent estimate and will discuss it with his wife and call us back. "The center radiant element is out on the broil element. Viking has a known issue for this problem. Its called run away broil element. Per Viking tech support change the main computer, the sensor, and broil element. This is a big job and will require pulling unit out and disassembly of top. This is a 2 man job. I cleaned off the moisture bars and I checked the vent and it is clear. I suggested on larger loads to use the time dry because large loads could take a few runs to get it completely dry. All functions are working I ran a wet towel in the unit set at the highest dry level and it dried the towel properly.

I found that the bracket for the left hinge has completely broke off now door isnt shutting properly. That bracket is welded to the frame of the unit so it would need an entire frame to repair.

Installed parts and tested found no leaks and boot seal is secured. Customer paid in full.

"I inspected the unit cleaned the coils from dog hair. It gets water with no filter in housing. It fills and pours across evaporator. Compressor comes on condenser foam works. How ever frost back is poor and is not cold enough to sustain any ice production. At minimal this unit would need rebuilt sealed system, descale, filter/ housing and sanitized. I gave customer the estimate and she declined"

"I inspected the unit and found several issues main issue is electronic control board has shorted out and no lights or display are on the control panel. The control panel will illuminate for a short period of time then go off. The compressor stays running but the unit does not cool. Also door does not seal all the way. See pics partly due to poor seal and also door hinge guide broken and missing. To correct this issue it will need a new main control board, sub control board. Also to address the compressor issue replace the compressor with filter dye dryer and check for any leaks. I explained to the customer that we have to start with the main control board 1st and if that does not complete the repair then we will need to keep going on other possible things. Customer stated if the board dont fix it he may buy a new unit."

I inspected the fridge and the freezer reads 70 degrees. However temperature test shows -7 degrees food. So temps are good. I have seen this several times on this model. You will need to upgrade computer board change thermistor and bimetal to correct the issue. Im sending an estimate not to the customer. Office please follow up with customer and see if they want to make deposit.

Found the water line to the water valve had popped off the valve because it was cut too short and was leaking every time the ice maker filled with water. Will need a new water line. If we can do this as fast as possible and she said she only wants me out here. Didnt give an exact time frame but we just need to call her and give her a heads up ; ordrng 1 W10823511 (Water line)
